教 学 过 程 | I. Detailed introduction of the textbook and the connotation of medical English (15 min.) Medical English is a little bit different from college English. You will benefit a lot from the medical English textbook. As medical students, you should learn some medical words and some translati执业兽医on skills. II. Lead in questions (10 min.) 1. Are you happy and healthy? 2. How to lead a happy and healthy life? III. Background knowledge (5 min.) WHO provides defines health as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. In another word, health in human beings is the extent of an individual’s continuing physical, emotional, mental and social ability to cope with his environment. IV. Analysis of the text (50 min.) 1. Health is determined mainly by us. 2. Language points. 3. Analysis of difficult sentences. 4. Translation skills in important sentences. V. discussion (10 min.) 1. How to lead a healthy life? 2. The good life in America is really a good life? VI. Summary (10 min.) Health means a lot in our life and we talk about it everyday. But many of us do not know how to keep healthy.
