§1. 3 投稿须知
如果不熟悉一个期刊的投稿情况，一定想办法了解期刊的投稿须知。每个期刊的投稿要求不尽相同，比如投稿内容、页数、字号、字体、行距、标号、公式、图表、参考文献写法等。国外一些期刊有字数或页数的算法，算起来还是比较费时费事。在基本了解投稿要求后，还可以下载几篇这个期刊的文献，看看这些文献的内容和格式。当然，因为文献大多是PDF格式，有些投稿要求并不能体现出来，但可以参考。

It comprises original and significant contributions relating to the theory, design, performance and reliability of electron devices, including:

Items are restricted to three pages and appear, on average, two months after acceptance.
On-line access is included with EDS membership at ieeexplore.ieee.org. Past issues are now available back through 1980.
