The Journal of Orofacial Orthopedics/Fortschritte der Kieferorthop?die provides orthodontists and dentists who are also actively interested in orthodontics, whether in university clinics or private practice, with highly authoritative and up-to-date information based on experimental and clinical research. The journal is the leading German publication for the promulgation of the results of original work both in the areas of scientific and clinical orthodontics and related areas. All articles undergo peer review before publication, and appear in both English and German. The German Society of Orthodontics (DGKFO) also publishes in the journal important communications, statements and announcements. The journal represents the major German forum for international communication and education in the field of orofacial orthopedics. Die Zeitschrift Journal of Orofacial Orthopedics/Fortschritte der Kieferorthop?die informiert kompetent und aktuell Kieferorthop?den und kieferorthop?disch arbeitende Zahn?rzte in Klinik und Praxis über Ergebnisse aus der experimentellen und klinischen Forschung des Fachgebiets. Dabei stellt die Zeitschrift das bedeutendste deutsche Publikationsorgan für Originalarbeiten aus der wissenschaftlichen und klinischen Kieferorthop?die sowie relevanter angrenzender Fachgebiete dar.
