心，心脏；俞，输注。
本穴是心气转输于后背体表的部位。

Meaning

Xin, heart; shu, point.
This point is where the Qi of Heart is infused into the back.

定位

第五胸椎棘突下，旁开1.5寸。

Location

1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the 5th thoracic vertebra.

主治

① 心脏病要穴，治心悸，心痛，心律不齐等；
② 镇静安神，治失眠多梦，精神失常；
③ 局部治背肌酸痛。

Indication

1. main point for cardiac diseases, such as palpitation, cardiac pain, arrhythmia
2. insomnia, dreaminess, mental disorder
3. backache

针法

直刺或略向中线斜刺0.5-0.8寸

Method

puncture perpendicularly or a bit obliquely in the direction of the midline 0.5-0.8 cun.
