穴义

廉，清；泉，水泉。
舌下两脉古名廉泉。穴在喉结上缘，靠近此脉。

Meaning

Lian, clear; quan, spring.
In ancient times the two blood vessels below the tongue were called Lianquan. The point is at the superior margin of the laryngeal prominence, close to the Lianquan vessels.

定位

舌骨体上缘的中点处。

Location

above the Adam's apple, in the midpoint of the upper border of the thyoid bone.

主治

1. 咽喉部疾病要穴，治咽喉疼痛，声音嘶哑，吞咽困难等。
2．治舌强不语，流涎等。

Indication

1. sore throat, harsh voice, swallow difficulty.
2. aphasia caused by stiffness of the tongue, salivation with glossoplegia.

针法

针尖向上直刺0.5-0.8寸。

Method

puncture perpendicularly, upwards 0.5-0.8 cun.

备考

切勿刺入喉腔。

Remarks

Avoid insertion toward the laryngeal cavity.
