主症

突然昏仆倒地，神志不清，牙关紧闭，面色苍白，两目上视，手足抽搐，口吐涎沫，并发出类似猪羊的叫声，甚至二便失禁，不久，渐渐苏醒，症状消失，除感疲乏无力外，饮食起居如常，舌苔白腻，脉多弦滑。

Main Manifestations

Sudden falling down with loss of consciousness, pallor, clenched jaws, upward staring of the eyes, convulsion, foam on the lips screaming as pigs or sheep, and even incontinence of urine and feces. Later consciousness is gradually regained and the symptoms subside. Apart from fatigue and weakness, the patient can lead a normal life. Tongue coating is white sticky, and pulse is string-taut, rolling.

治法

取督脉、任脉、肝经穴为主。针刺用泻法。以化痰开窍，平肝熄风。

主症

痫证日久，抽搐程度日渐减弱，精神萎靡，神疲乏力，头晕失眠，面色无华，食少痰多，腰膝酸软，舌淡少苔，脉细无力。

The longer the disease lasts, the more severe the spasm is, listlessness, lustreless complexion, dizziness, palpitation, anorexia, profuse sputum, weakness and soreness of the loins and limbs, pale tongue proper with little coating, thready, rolling pulse.

治法

取心、脾、肾经穴为主。针刺用平补平泻法，以养心安神，健脾益肾。
