主症

临床发病突然，一侧面部板滞、麻木，继之面部表情肌瘫痪，而出现额纹消失，眼闭合不紧，露睛流泪，鼻唇沟变浅，口角歪向健侧，食物常嵌在齿颊间，患侧不能作蹙额，皱眉，示齿、鼓腮等动作，部分病人初起时有耳后、耳下及面部疼痛，还可出现患侧舌前2/3味觉减退或消失，听觉过敏等症。病程延久，可因瘫痪肌挛缩，口角歪向病侧，称"倒错"现象。

Main Manifestations

Sudden onset, one side face numbness even the muscles paralysis, inability to frown, the eye can not be closed, salivation, shallow of mouth groove, deviate of angle of the mouth, inability to swallow, in the affected side, inability to frown, raise the eyebrow, show the teeth or blow on the cheek, and in some cases, pain in the mastoid region or headache, poor sense of taste, sensitive hearing. Chronic case may have contracture of the atrophied muscles, mouth can be pulled to the affected side. It is named paradoxical wrying of face.

治法

取手、足阳明经穴为主，辅以少阳经穴，面部穴位可采取透刺。

Treatment

Prescription

Yangbai(GB 14), Sibai(ST 2), Cuanzhu (BL 2), Xiaguan(ST 7), Quanliao (SI 18), Juliao (ST 3), Dicang(ST 4) to Jiaoche(ST 6), Hegu (LI 4), Zusanli(ST 36).

随证配穴

鼻唇沟平坦加迎香；
人中沟平坦加人中；
颏唇沟歪斜加承浆；
乳突部疼痛：加风池、翳风、外关。

Level of the philtrum: Renzhong (GV 26),
deviation of the groove of the lip: Chengjiang (CV 24),
