主症

初起脘部或绕脐疼痛，旋即转移至右下腹，以手按之其痛加剧，痛处固定不移，右腿屈而难伸，并有发热恶寒，恶心呕吐，便秘 ，尿黄，舌苔薄腻而黄，脉数有力等证。若痛势剧烈，腹皮拘急，拒按，局部可触及肿块，壮热自汗，脉象洪数等，则属重证。

Main Manifestations

Firstly, there is epigastric or periumbilical pain which soon moves down to the right lower quadrant. The pain is localized, intensified by pressure and accompanied by limited extention of right leg, chills and fever, nausea, vomiting, constipation, dark urine, thin yellowish stickly tongue coating , and rapid forceful pulse. 治法

取手足阳明经穴为主。毫针刺用泻法，留针20-40min，一般每日针1-2次，重证可每隔4小时针刺一次。

Treatment

Points from Large Intestine Meridian and Stomach Meridians are chiefly prescribed. Reducing technique is applied with needles retained for 20 to 40 minutes. The treatment is given usually once or twice a day, but once every four hours for the severe cases.
