Introduction of Graduate school

Peking Union Medical College (PUMC) and Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (CAMS) are under a unified management by the same group of leaders overseeing all matters.

PUMC was established in 1917 on the basis of the Union Medical School by Rockefeller Foundation, and is the only key medical school in China with an eight-year curriculum.

CAMS is a multidisciplinary academic institution, with 19 institutes and 6 hospitals affiliated to it, from 7 provinces, cities and autonomous regions.

Started in 1954, the Graduate Education has been among the first groups, which confer doctoral and master degrees, authorized by the Academy Degree Committee of the State Council.
