Meaning

Shi, stone; men, door.
Stone here means “hard”, the point is indicated in treating lumps in the lower abdomen.

定位

脐下2寸。

Location

2 cun below the umbilicus.

主治

尿潴留，遗尿，月经不调，腹痛腹泻。

Indication

Urinary retention, nocturnal enuresis, irregular menstruation, abdominal pain, diarrhea.

针法

直刺1-1.5寸。

Method

perpendicularly 1-1.5 cun.

备考

三焦之募穴，孕妇禁针。

Remarks

Front-Mu point of the Sanjiao, contraindicated use durring pregancy.
