:: 实性腹胀 Excess Condition ::
主症
腹胀拒按，甚则胀痛，嗳气，口臭，小便黄，大便秘结；或有发热，呕吐，舌苔黄厚，脉滑数有力。
Main Manifestations
Distention and fullness in the abdomen which are aggravated by pressing, abdominal pain in severe case, belching, foul breath, dark yellow urine, constipation, occasional fever, vomiting, yellow, thick tongue coating, rolling, rapid and forceful pulse.
:: 虚性腹胀 Deficiency Condition ::
主症
腹胀，时轻时重，喜按，肠鸣便溏，食少神疲，精神不振，小便清长，舌质淡，苔白，脉弱无力。
Main Manifestations
Abdominal distention, relieved by pressing, worsens and lessens from time to time, borborygmi, loose stools, lose of appetite, lassitude, listlessness, clear urine, pale tongue, white tongue coating, weak pulse.

取足太阴、足阳明及任脉经穴为主。实证针刺用泻法，以通调腑气；虚证用补法并配合灸，以健脾和胃，理气消胀。

The points of Spleen, Stomach Meridians and Conception Vessel are selected as principal points.
