Muscular flaccidity of the lower limbs with motor impairment, accompanied by fever, cough, irritability, thirst, scanty and brownish urine, reddened tongue with yellow coating, thready and rapid or rolling pulse. | ||

Flaccid or slightly swollen legs, a little hot feeling and fullness in the chest and epigastric region, painful urination, hot and brownish urine, yollow, sticky tongue coating, soft and rapid pulse. | ||

下肢痿弱不用，兼有腰背酸软，遗精早泄，带下，头晕，目眩，舌红，脉细数。

有外伤病史，肢体麻木，痿废不用，或有大小便失禁。脉缓或涩，舌苔薄白，舌质淡红或暗紫。

Main Manifestations
History of trauma, flaccid paralytic limbs may be accompanied with incontinence of urine and feces, relaxed or hesitant pulse, pink or dark purlish tongue with thin while coating. | ||

以取阳明经穴为主。上肢多取手阳明；下肢多取足阳明；属于肺热及湿热者，单针不灸，用泻法，或兼有皮肤针叩刺；肝肾阴亏者，针用补法。

Treatment
Main points are selected from the Large Intestine and Stomach Meridians. The Large Intestine Meridian is mostly selected for upper extremity. The points of Stomach Meridian are mostly selected for lower extremity. For heat in the lung and damp heat, only punctured with reducing manipulation in combination with cutaneous or tapping needling by pricking. Reinforcing manipulation is used for deficiency of Yin of liver and kidney.
